FREE SEMINAR TO HELP CONCERNED CITIZENS BECOME ANIMAL ADVOCATES
Presented by Local and National Humane Organizations
(CHICO, CA) — Butte Humane Society and The Humane Society of the United States are teaming up to offer a free seminar on Wednesday, November 28 from 7pm to 9pm at TrailBlazer Pet Supply, 762 Mangrove Ave. at the Safeway Shopping Center in Chico. “Lobby 101: Effective Advocacy for Animals” will provide tips on how you can make a tremendous difference for animals in California.
The humane community is working hard to improve life for California’s animals, but to be more effective, more help is needed. Citizens concerned about puppy mills, wildlife protection, factory farms, local animal issues, or creating a more compassionate California in general, are urged to attend this informative and motivational meeting.
Jennifer Fearing, California Senior State Director for The HSUS, will discuss the lawmaking process and offer techniques for improving the persuasiveness and engagement of citizen advocates.
This event is free of charge and guests are welcome. If you plan to attend, you may RSVP online at
