Butte Humane Society is excited to take part in the annual Chico Parade of Lights! BHS will be representing their Humane Heroes program, a program that lets younger children get involved with animals at BHS in a fun and educational way. BHS will have its own float, led by alumni and staff members.
The Chico Parade of Lights is an annual community celebration that takes place in Downtown Chico. This year’s theme is “Wonders of the Wild.” This leaves room for creativity, so anything from animals and plants to environments, to nature and camping is encouraged for floats!
The night will also have pre-parade events starting at 6 p.m. near the downtown plaza: tricycle races, bed races, handcycle challenge, and Palio horse sculpture races! Bring your family and friends and join in on the fun!
