Where does your donation go? The average Core Care Cost of one animal staying at our facility is $191, this amount reflects the medical attention needed by the dogs and cats who arrive at our shelter in healthy condition.
These costs include:
- Food and shelter
- Microchipping
- Spay and neuter
- Age-appropriate vaccinations
- Flea and heartworm prevention
Many of our animals need extra treatment and rehabilitation to prepare them for the transition into their forever home, however the core care costs are invaluable in helping Butte Humane Society save lives, find homes, and inspire compassion within our community!
