Bring your four-legged friend and splash the day away at Shapiro Pool! This wonderful event includes health and wellness information for your pets, provided by various community pet organizations*. All proceeds from this event support the proposed New Dog Park. This event is split into seven 30-minute time slots for water play. Fee includes a half hour of water play, a Goodie Bag for each dog, participation in the Dog Splash competition, and a photo opportunity with your dog!

Downtown Chico officially kicks off the holiday season by rolling out the red carpet and presenting the finest in hometown hospitality! Merchants debut their holiday offerings, show off fabulous decorations, and provide delicious refreshments and entertainment. The DCBA coordinates strolling carolers, other on-street events and activities and invites SANTA to come on down for photos with the kiddos!

Come check out our animals looking for their forever homes! Mobile Adoption events are held at least once a month at various locations around Chico. These events are supported by our amazing volunteers, who bring dogs and cats from our Adoption Centers with the goal of finding that special someone who wants to take them home.
