Adult Education Seminars

Every other month Butte Humane Society (BHS) offers adult education seminars on pet related topics.  It is our hope to promote knowledge, understanding, skills, and positive attitudes related to humane involvement in the lives of animals.

Guest speakers cover a wide variety of topics such as:

  • Disaster Preparedness
  • Pet First Aid
  • Baby-Ready Pets
  • Understanding Pet Behavior
  • Pet Loss
  • And More

At this time the BHS Adult Education Seminars are held on the last Wednesday of even-numbered months, but dates and times may vary.  Please check the BHS event calendar for information on upcoming seminars.  Most seminars are free thanks to the generous contributions by animal-loving community members, but registration is still required as space is limited.  Reserve your seats today.

If you would like to present a topic for one of our seminars, or if you have any questions about the seminars, please feel free to call or email the Humane Education Coordinator at (530)343-7917 x 109 or honeysouza@buttehumane.org.

As much as we LOVE animals, these seminars are for humans only.  Please leave your furry friends at home.
